A note from Dr. Carpino:
I’m developing this section of my website (beginning spring 2024) because managing tailbone pains can be difficult for both healthcare providers and our patients when you don’t know where to begin with care. Tailbone pains can heal faster using educational resources to help guide your self-care and access to healthcare. While I have developed a certain proficiency working with many tailbone pain patients every week, and I have access to many healthcare specialists in my network since I live in a large city, not every person and health care provider have access to this same level of expertise and so a gap in patient care exists.
The purpose of this webpage is to share as much of my expertise as I can with people and healthcare providers so that nobody has to suffer with tailbone pain unnecessarily.
I hope that people and healthcare providers, no matter where you live, can use these resources to help resolve your tailbone pain.
